A Place At Home – Glenside is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who can provide exceptional care to our clients—including individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. If you have American Sign Language (ASL) experience, we would love to have you on our team!
What You’ll Do
- Â Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)Â
- Â Provide companionship and emotional supportÂ
- Â Communicate effectively with clients, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing (ASL skills highly preferred)Â
- Â Assist with meal preparation and light housekeepingÂ
- Â Provide medication remindersÂ
- Â Support mobility and transfers when neededÂ
- Â Maintain accurate documentation of care providedÂ
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a caregiver (home care, facility, or personal experience)
- ASL (American Sign Language) experience strongly preferred
- Â Compassionate, patient, and dependable personalityÂ
- Â Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with all clientsÂ
- Â Must have reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
- Â Ability to pass a background check and meet PA state requirementsÂ
- Â CNA, HHA, or DSP certification is a plus (not required)Â
